Dari Litchman is an artist and arts and crafts instructor living in Brooklyn, NY. She has taught art for 20 plus years, starting way back in summer camp. She went on to receive a degree in Art Therapy and a BFA in Fine Arts from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She is currently running “The Craft Salon”, arts and crafts workshops out of her home studio for children and adults. She has been leading workshops the past few years in partnership with BUST MAGAZINE, BROOKLYN BRAINERY, FOUNDERS WORKSPACE, FROST VALLEY YMCA, and more. Dari is currently planning her second annual Catskill Craft Retreat which takes place at Frost Valley YMCA in April of 2019. She is also a ceramic artist under the name Dot + Loop Ceramics. Dari loves making things and can often be seen sewing, knitting, decoupage-ing, decorating, embelleshing, cutting, and gluing. She is partial to rainbows and glitter. Lots of glitter. Dari lives with her husband and 10 year old daughter and a rescue dog named “Mister P”.
